I must write a couple of lines in English also, so my friends in Scotland, England, Canada and so on can understand the blog's meaning a bit. Hello to you, you know who!
Hello to all English speakers who got lost in the net and found themselves on this page. ;-)
My meaning in this blog is to aim to start a conversation about animals, their well- being especially through homeopathy, which I do, and other ways- also the regular medical way saving animal lives all over the planet. See, I am not a fanatic. I think we must take and use all the sorts of therapy and cure we trust to help our animal friend in the frame of selecting with all our wisdom and soul.
Animals are competely dependent on our care. They usually take this in a humble serving manner. And still we force them to fulfill our selfish needs which are most of the time completely ununderstandable to the animals. Like for instance a hobby of dog agility. Some dogs just love it! Some take it ok, but not so interestedly. Some find it a bit of a bore. Some get nervous. Some anxious. And somewhere there stands the pet owner with his/her individual expectations and needs. Same with horses. And all activities, which are human based and ruled, meaning not necesserily natural behaviour to the animal.
As a pet owner, your job is to objectively observe your pet. How is he/she really taking the activity? If he is keen- is it being anxiously keen to please you or dead keen to show his/her skills and fly to the moon? If there is a resistance and unwillingness, the best is to low down the intensity and seriousness of the activity in your self. Maybe you are forcing your beloved pet to perform. Maybe, if all goes well, you once find a companion, who loves it just as much as you do. But you must know that it is not always so. Give him/her the chance to get his/her voice out. If it seems to say : "Please not this anymore", I tell you, it's best to let go and slow down. I know because I have been there.
I am so very keen to start an animal sanctuary for equines here in Finland. I know there is maybe a couple of places here- private homes- which take horses in for just to restore their lives. I would like to do the same, and in a big scale. This is a dream, not much more yet. I needed to raise money or do a mature kicking about it, but must hold back until it all comes together. Waiting for the day I treat animals and people homeopathically, and love it. What's ur opinion about animal care etc.?
